At The Aqua Alchemy, our mission is to guide humans into deep, transformative connection with the ocean — where every breath, dive, and encounter becomes a catalyst for inner and outer change.
We merge the art of freediving with the mystery of marine megafauna to awaken awe, presence, and belonging. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of alchemy, we believe the ocean is not just a place to explore — it is a crucible for the soul, a place where fear dissolves into freedom, and curiosity is transmuted into reverence.
Through mindful immersion, storytelling, and science-guided intuition, we offer more than just experiences — we offer transformation beneath the surface.
Christian Lundgaard
Christian is the founder of The Aqua Alchemy. A freedive instructor, with years of experience teaching, coaching freedivers and people new to the ocean world. Passionately spending multiple seasons guiding people in the water with Humpback Whales in the beautiful Kingdom of Tonga.
Christian has travelled the world diving, teaching, learning all the way from the freezing cold waters North of the Arctic Circle diving with Orcas, to the tropical warm waters of Southern Maldives diving with Tiger Sharks capturing the essences through photography to inspire others in the world below the surface.
It doesn’t stop with marine life! Christians passion for freediving has taken him to depths deeper then 50m in the practice of finding stillness on one breath.
Being an award winning Australian Lifeguard Christian provides a safe environment and service to help people take that next step either the first one into the water, or to help progress on their aquatic journey.
